Mark Withey

I began as a volunteer with SMHR in September 1988 producing the Tuesday Request Show and over the years I have continually taken an active roll in the stations fund raising, as well as regularly contributing to the SMHR magazine and presenting a number of different programmes such as The Request Show, The Love Hour, Bingo on the Wards & The Hit Trip as well as my current programme 'The Aylesbury Chart Show' - which has been broadcast more than any other programme at the station since it's beginnings in 1990, clocking up over 1000 editions!

I have held the post of Programme Controller three times which has included our move to AM, the introduction of Myriad our 'live' computer system and the organising of a number of programmed fundraising events.
I am currently a member of the SMHR committee

My other hobbies include collecting CD's and listening to music, Luton Town FC, going to the gym, appearing on TV programmes and being with my family.
