Luke Osborne

Hi there, I'm Luke! I have been a member of SMHR since November 2010, starting as a producer on the Friday Night Request Show and now present my own show, every Thursday evening, called 'Modern World', a show about modern technology with all of the latest music thrown in.

I have always had a keen interest in radio, not only listening to it, but also how it is produced and managed and have built up a large amount of knowledge since joining SMHR. Teamwork is definitely the foundation of our organisation, we all come together to make things happen and without the continuous support of businesses, charities and individuals, alike, we would be limited to what we can offer.

Outside of the station, I am a student of Computer Science and I am hoping to study for a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering, after completing my college course. I enjoy playing and watching sports, especially Squash and Football, and have a diverse taste in music, after all, variety is the spice of life. One of the best parts of being part of SMHR, is listening to the positive feedback, which we receive, when around the wards and hospital to collect requests and to speak to the patients.
