Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio

Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio hosted their annual charity golf day on the 9th of September 2010
at Studley Wood Golf Club. The event was organised by Holly Small and Stella and Mark Withey.
Alvin Printwhistle provided the evening entertainment and was as ever absolutely brilliant.

The main sponsor, Barclays bank cash - matched the first £3000.00 which helped the event raise in excess
of £9000.00. The golf day has proved to be the highlight in our fundraising calendar and we have already
booked next years for the 22nd of September.

The winner of nearest the Pin was presented with a BMW for the weekend by Richard Berry from Sytner BMW
High Wycombe, everyone on the green admired the car and will be trying again next year to be the lucky winner.

Barclays donated an additional prize which was an amazing hamper and this was won by Pauline Simmons

The overall winners were the four-ball team from Burgess Office Equipment. They took away the winning
cup from last years winners BNI Union. Congratulations to them, we are sure there will be a fierce battle next
year to retain it. Winners of the 'Mark Withey' pop quiz were the team from Sytner Bmw High Wycombe.
