I am pleased to have been involved with Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio from it's beginning over 30 years ago (how time flies).

Lots of things have happened over that time, and to the good people who keep the radio station going year after year I must say a big thank you!

We are pleased that we have now moved into our new studios due to the redevelopment of the Hospital. It has involved a lot of hard work and fundraising and I am grateful to the Hospital trust and the membership of the radio station for all that has been done.

Again, I'd like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who give up their time each week to collect the requests that the patients ask for and to those who man the studio and play the music that is requested.

Members go and new ones come and take their turn, but anyone who thinks that they would enjoy doing this voluntary work are most welcome.
